Carnation Hotels Private Limited is the hotel operations and management services subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels, founded in collaboration with Rattan Keswani. It endeavours to provide hotel management services to hotel builders and owners. Carnation Hotels leverages the operational excellence of Lemon Tree Hotels in Hotel Operations, Sales & Revenue Management, Marketing, Finance, Human Resources and Sustainability for owners, as well as providing corporate depth and expertise in the fields of Technical Services and Project Management. Carnation Hotels bring together a team of highly trained and qualified industry professionals to deliver optimal financial results to owners, while maintaining exemplary quality service standards for the guests.

Through its Operating and Marketing alliances, the company provides comprehensive services for an ultimate hotel operations’ model to its owners, under the seven brands of Lemon Tree Hotels Limited. Since its inception in July 2012, the company has strengthened the performance of the brands of Lemon Tree Hotels through consistent and well-crafted guest service and revenue delivery programs. Carnation Hotels Private Limited (CPHL) currently operates 43 hotels with an inventory of over 3100 keys, and has 22 hotels under development with an inventory of over 1500 rooms.

Kapil Sharma

Director

Kapil is a B.Com from University of Delhi and a qualified Chartered Accountant. His last assignment was as Head-Finance and Accounts, Leroy Somer & Controls India Private Limited. Kapil has close to 22 years of experience in the finance and commercial function, and has previously worked with Onida Finance Limited and AFL Limited.

Sameer Singh

Vice President – Operations, Carnation Hotels

Sameer is an alumni of the Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development (OCLD) and holds a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Robert Gordon University. He comes with over 17 years of experience in hotel operations and revenue management, and has worked extensively with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts. He is the Vice President- Operations at Carnation Hotels and oversees the operations, financial evaluations and compliances, implementation of brand standards, review of P&L statements and sales, along with owner engagement.

Samarth Agarwal

Vice President - Business Development

Samarth is a post graduate in management studies in finance and marketing from Amity Business School, Noida. With over 15 years of experience in the Realty business, he has been associated with Damac Properties (Dubai), Wal-Mart India, InterGlobe Hotels, Cushman & Wakefield and Evalueserve at various stages of his career. Prior to joining Lemon Tree Hotels, he was working as Chief Development Officer for Hamstede Living.

Geeta Jetley

Assistant Vice President – Operations

Geeta Jetley is an alumna of the Oberoi Centre for Learning and Development and has spent over 25 years working in the hotel business in India and overseas. Prior to joining Carnation Hotels, Geeta was heading operations for Wyndham Hotels in India. She has been a General Manager with The Oberoi Group as well the Le Meridian and has extensive experience in hotel openings and re-brands.

JOURNEY SO FAR

Taking on a wide variety of projects in diverse locations, Carnation Hotels Private Limited has remained committed to the spirit for which it was established. In its first year of operations, CHPL signed three hotels in three keys markets in the India hospitality landscape. The 108-Key hotel in Jaipur and 63-key hotel in Ahmedabad were refurbished and converted to Lemon Tree Premiers, while the 53-key hotel in Chennai, a brownfield project, was launched as a Lemon Tree Hotel.

The company has extended the reach of Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd across the length and breadth of the country, including the cities of Jammu, Katra, Srinagar, Baddi, Amritsar, Dehradun, Corbett, Manesar, Alwar, Bhiwadi, Noida, Lucknow, Gangtok, Siliguri, Patna, Vadodara, Coimbatore and Trichy, while also adding rooms in existing markets like Gurgaon, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Pune, Goa and Chennai. Additionally, by opening hotels in Dubai and Bhutan, and signing further management contracts in Nepal and Bhutan, Carnation has also paved the way for Lemon Tree Hotels’ expansion in international markets.
